Compassionate Pediatric Care Rooted in Community

I was born and raised in Colonie, New York, but my family is originally from Albania, a small Eastern European country.

Growing up I always had a passion for helping others. Throughout my education, I always enjoyed science and biology classes, so once I graduated from high school, I decided to pursue a career in nursing.

Throughout nursing school, I was able to shadow and do clinicals on various nursing units and I found my passion in the pediatric population. In my final semester of nursing school, I was fortunate enough to be granted an internship which I completed on the general pediatric floor at Albany Medical Center, where I was then offered and accepted a full-time nursing position.

Outside the Office

When I am not working, you can find me spending time with my husband Dillon, or with our family and friends. I enjoy relaxing at home reading or trying out new and different recipes. I also enjoy taking our dog Lucy out for walks and hikes in the nice weather. My husband and I also love to travel and experience new things together. We recently went to Italy for our honeymoon and I hope to be able to continue to check off places off of our bucket list with our future family someday!

What Families are Saying

Have always had a great experience with any of the docs here (have seen most if not all at this point – for my 1 and 3 year old), as well as the nurses and staff. Would recommend this office to anyone looking for a pediatrician!

I can’t say enough good things about Delmar Pediatrics. Every interaction has been positive, and it’s clear that everyone truly cares about the children and families they serve.
